Short version: your garden data is yours, and only you can see it.
Your account email, the gardens, areas, plants, care history, issues, fruit notes and photos you add, and your settings. Garden addresses are used to look up local weather and climate.
Only you. Every record is tied to your account and the database refuses reads and writes from anyone else. Photos are stored privately and shown through short-lived links.
When you ask for a diagnosis or advice, the photo and the details of that plant are sent to Anthropic's Claude to produce the answer. They're not used to train models.
The chat's microphone uses your browser's built-in speech recognition, so your browser's maker (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari) turns your speech into text. Gardyn only receives the text, and only when you send it.
If you turn on reminder emails, we send them to your account email. You can switch them off in Settings at any time.
You can export everything as a file, and delete your account and all its data, from Settings.
